This collage series titled Mix Messages is inspired by the surface of the streets of Brooklyn. The series seeks to capture a changing landscape made up of graffiti, vinyl stickers, and outdoor advertising.
By mixing these motifs with classical patterns, and renaissance paintings, the work seeks to create new narratives and compositions while bringing together what is commonly considered high and low art.
